Foreword

The aim of this site is to:

  • Provide a history and insight of Comrades Lodge & Chapter.
  • Provide a home for the Masonic Great War Project
  • Inform members of news, forthcoming events and dates.
  • Provide visitors with dates and travel information.

Comrades Lodge is one of many Craft Lodges which meet at Colchester Masonic Centre, Essex U.K., and has been doing so in harmony since 1903. Its members are of all ages and come from all areas of the local community and beyond. Comrades Chapter has been in existence since 1939 and comprises of members from different Craft Lodges in and around Colchester.

Brother Jack Perrins received his 50 year certificate from the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Alan Clark, at the Comrades Lodge meeting on Friday 21st  March 2011.

New Year's Eve Ball

The St. Giles Masonic Association Entertainments committee are taking bookings for a New Year function to be held at the Centre on 31st December 2011. Cost is £35, meal and entertainment included.
